Beyond any doubt, this is the coolest sporting target button I have ever come across. I have never encountered another example.
One tiny drawback is that this hunt dog appears to have gotten into a bit of a scuffle. There is a small flake to the glass on his left nostril — perhaps he stuck it where it didn’t belong. With the design being such high relief , it’s really not too surprising. In fact, I didn’t even notice the flake until I saw the enlarged image.
Despite that minor battle scar, I still consider him absolutely priceless.
The backmark reads “Extra Superb”, and I couldn’t agree more.
