Here we have one of a pair that is listed. It is a lovely hand painted courting couple in a pastoral scene, circa 1840-1870. The button is depicting an 18thC scene.
It is in beautiful condition with literally no paint or gilding wear. The pair was carded when I purchased them from one of UK collections in October.
