Large Medium Early Painted Glass in Metal Button with Pad Back
This button was found on a tray of ‘mostly’ 18th Century Buttons. It has a pad back and a shank was added for mounting recently and can easily be removed. These shanks are mostly used for competition or display cards as it’s not easy to mount the pad back. It also preserves the button. If it is not 18th, it most definately is early 19th Century. Regardless, it’s beautiful.
Size: Medium 1-3/16” just missing the large mark
Condition: Excellent
