Great 19th Century button with reverse painted on glass dog set in a carved wood frame. Please note, as you can see in the images, there is some wear to the design under the glass on the background. The visibility of the wear depends on how light hits the button. Some angles it is barely noticeable, while other angles are. Regardless, it is such an uncommon and wonderful button that it really doesn’t affect how desirable this button is. I have never seen another and it came from my recent trip overseas.
