This button is one of 3 listed (If available) from a partial set of Sporting Buttons.
Great detailed scene of 2 horses and riders.
The card was marked ‘Braes of Derwent Hunt’ referring to the Derwent Valley which is well known for foxhunting dating back to the 18th Century and continues to this day. This was from a well documented collection so that little bit of extra history just makes this trio more interesting. The button actually has a bit of a blue hue and is marked Extra Super Fine with a mark that resembles a stemless 4 leaf clover,
NBS Medium 1-1/8”
Very Good Condition, just some wear to the back
