First glance, this button appears to be faceted crystal. But when held, it is lighter than it should be for glass considering the size and density. The tooth tap is rather dull as well and I have a pretty good tooth tap if I do say so myself. It also has a seam on the leaves and around the whole button. It would very easily be mistaken for glass/crystal. Even has bubbles within as well as a couple of tiny flakes seen with a loupe on the facets that flake like glass. The self shank is rather typical for a glass ball button. So, I will leave it up to you, just be careful with competition.
NBS Medium 3/4”
I honestly don’t know how you could get such crisp facets on any form of plastic, bit of a mystery button.
